Biography

John Campbell is Senior Vice President, Entertainment and Streaming Solutions at Disney Advertising, where he oversees Entertainment Solutions, Streaming Solutions, Integrated Marketing, Multicultural and Inclusion Solutions, and the Disney Creative Works teams. Campbell’s teams focus developing strategic, client-first multiplatform solutions, creating unique and custom opportunities for clients across Disney’s portfolio of brands inclusive of Disney’s entertainment brands, Disney’s streaming properties Disney+ and Hulu and helping brands authentically and intentionally reach all audiences. Campbell is the Executive sponsor for Disney’s Project Elevate, which is a small business accelerator program focused on minority-led businesses. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Advancing Diversity at MediaVillage.

Prior to this role, John served as the SVP of Addressable Strategy for Disney Advertising.

Before joining the Walt Disney Company, Campbell joined the National Geographic Society in 2007 as a senior sales executive at National Geographic Traveler, quickly rising to Vice President, Global Partnerships and U.S. Publisher of National Geographic Magazine and the National Geographic Digital ecosystem. He oversaw the North American sales team and the digital planning + pricing team and digital Operations. Campbell worked closely with the Fox Network Group (FNG) teams across the globe to build and sell custom integrated programs and partnerships, around premium content, for like-minded brands to create new revenue opportunities across the portfolio.

John began his career as a Planning Supervisor for Mindshare North America and an Integrated Account Manager for Popular Science, Bonnier Corporation.
