
Biography
Brian joined UBS in 2009 and is responsible for working with colleagues in Global Wealth Management, the Investment Bank and Asset Management to strengthen
a culture of partnership and to connect clients to UBS’s full capabilities. He serves as chair of the Americas Client and Business Forum and is a member of the UBS Optimus Foundation Board. Prior to his current role, Brian served as Head Wealth Management USA, and also served as WMA’s Head of Strategic Clients and Partnerships. Brian has over 40 years of experience across all divisions of the financial services industry. He started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen, then spent 11 years at the Investment Management firm Atalanta/Sonsnoff Capital Corp. as
head trader and member of the Investment Committee. Brian then went on to spend 15 years at Merrill Lynch where he held a number of executive leadership positions including Head of Equities Americas, co-Head of Global Cash Equities, Global Head of Equity and Fixed Income Sales, Head of the Cross Divisional Coverage Group, and Vice Chairman and Head of the Private Banking & Investment Group.
Brian earned his BS in accounting from Fairfield University and is Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees. He is Chairman of the Northwell Health Cancer Institute Advisory Council, a member of the Ownership Works Board and also serves on
the Dixon Center for Military & Veterans Services Command Council. He is a former trustee and active supporter of the St. Ignatius School in Hunts Point, New York, which aims to break the cycle of poverty through Jesuit education. Brian
and his wife reside in Manhasset, NY and have three adult children.
