Introduction

This talk offers an account of leadership centered on various components of vision.  That account is not dependent on a faith perspective, but the talk devotes extensive attention to what this looks like in the context of Catholic faith.

“Leaders have the wisdom to see accurately the way things are, especially regarding the particularities of their arena of leadership (e.g., nation, company, organization, family) within the broader context. They identify and articulate practical goals for the group that enable it to thrive. They both witness these goals in action, and galvanize the group to adopt and live out these goals in a manner attuned to the particulars of all members. ”
